Frequently Asked Questions1) Do you move furniture?We're happy to move most couches, chairs and tables free of charge. When it comes to heavier items and also furniture with electronics and breakables on we'd rather you moved them ahead of time. If that's not possible, we'd rather find a solution for you than clean around them. 2) There are lots of different stains on my carpet - will you be able to remove them all? We can't guarantee to completely remove all stains because some stains like food colourings, hot drinks, cosmetics may cause the fibres of your carpet or rug to permanently change colour. That's not to say we won't try and make an acceptable job of removing most of the stain. 3) How long will my carpets take to dry? This depends a lot on the type and thickness of your carpets and of course, the weather, but most carpets will be dry in about three hours. Some may take a little longer. 4) How long should I leave before walking on the carpet? It is better if you can leave them to dry but we recommend you wait at least 1 Hour plus before you walk on the carpet, with bare feet. 5) We're out at work all week - how are we going to find time for you to come and clean the carpets? With many clients, we make arrangements to pick up keys, come in and clean your carpets early on in the day, and then return the key back to you. You needn't interrupt your working week to have fresh, clean carpets. 6) We're going away for a week - can you clean our carpets while we're away? Of course. We'll ensure you come back from your holiday to fresh, clean carpets. Please just let us know who has the key and who we can call should we need them and leave it all to us. 7) How Often Should I Clean My Carpet? Well, cleaning your carpet extends the life of it, as we remove all of the grit and dust that gets trapped and abbrades the fabric of your carpet like sandpaper. With that gone, your carpet wears less. Just how often it should be cleaned depends on several factors. If you have a large family, several pets and the area is used regularly, then you should be looking at cleaning the most used areas (but not necessarily the whole carpet) every 3 months. For a normal family with children, no pets, on a carpet which is vacuum cleaned every week, you should have it cleaned every 2 years. |
